A curious brand project, Aeronautica Militare is the product of a merchandising agreement between Cristiano di Thiene, an established apparel maker with a tailoring tradition, and the Italian armed forces. In 2004, the AM brand was launched in Thiene, Italy, producing a range of military inspired fashions for men, women and children, carrying logos and motifs associated with the Italian Air Force. Aeronautica Militare’s pieces are iconic, heritage-designs made from quality materials to traditional specifications. They have become a very popular outfitter to many of Europe’s well-dressed gentlemen and are steadily expanding globally.
