ACORN
A Down East heritage label, Acorn began in Lewiston, Maine in 1973 as a manufacturer of comfortable, handmade slipper socks. Borrowing from the moccasin tradition, Acorn is a purveyor of extremely comfortable indoor footwear and iconic camp slippers to keep your “dogs” warm, comfy and happy. The label produces a broad variety of slippers and house shoes for men and women. The brand’s founder, David Quinn, sold the business to Totes Isotoner, the accessories conglomerate, in 2011, where it sits alongside stablemates Totes, Isotoner and Manzella. The majority ot Totes Isotoner output is still made in America.
